I was born in 1957 into a pretty artistic family. My early artistic attempts were in painting and drawing, with drawing being my favoured art form.

I got my first camera at the age of 10, but gradually other matters took over, and my photography hobby was dropped for many years. This year, my husband bought me a Nikon D60, which had just appeared on the market, and I started teaching myself photography again. The rise of digital photography has reawakened my interest in photography, and I am particularly enjoying experimenting with close-up work following the purchase of a close-up filter. I also so some semi-professional glamour photography, for which I use a Nikon D80.

I have a passion for image editing, and I have worked steadily over the past 18 months to build up my Photoshop skills, working on image restoration, manipulation and photomontage.
